Okay seriously! Seriously? Seriously!

I need some inspiration and it's getting kinda hard to nail some down! Ive been attempting to push myself back into Proper form and get more art done so I can get back in the game.
Thus... I need material to actually draw.

I have to admit, Im one of those artists that works better with input from outside sources then just from myself. It takes me Longer to come up with great junk to draw if I work alone. I need input! INPUT! I love taking an inkling of an idea and then running with it and really developing it and fleshing it out. That's just how I works!

So now I just need... you know? Small ideas. Inspirational thoughts that might be funny or cool or whatever! Just something!

And I know (of those of you who really want more Metroid Comics out of me) that I have some good stuff to offer but I only came up with a few of those scripts. I love the whole concept but Im just not That great at putting the scripts together :P So I sorta need ideas to play around with.
And Ive also, once I get my lazy bones back into full on artsy mode, been tossing around the idea of putting up my own little website just for those comics. But I wanted to test the waters here more, get some good thoughts, opinions, whatnot, before doing anything of that sort.
Also would be helpfull, if Im thinking of doing any form of online comic, to have more then what Ive already done to post.

So yeah. That's the low down.

Ideas?

What about crossovers like Master Chief riding a warthog alongside the druid plow from Brutal Legends? Though for the webcomic, from what i have seen of your current artwork it sounds like you could make a heck of a comic if you can get something to be the point of interest.

Try meshing together some ideas that you've already done before, or completely new ones, like Metroid meets Something Else. Just a thought, hope it'll help you come up with something.

try finding art trades. Those are the best way to test yourself and get an idea. Take me for example i just finish my first art trade, I actuaklly drew an animal!

some said music already... try movies, inspirational or for about art or and artist.

going to a con or gallery or art show, is always fun! even if its completely different from what you do. it like a fresh look on how to do things.

but i know what you mean sometimes i feel the same way... try taking a break. try staying away from the art bored and sooner or latter it will find you.

If you decide to revisit the Metroid series, I say don't even bother with learning all the specifics of the mythos, just create an action-packed story, even if it's something where the characters are interchangeable and the story won't suffer much if they are switched out (like, say, replace Samus with Mega Man or whatever).

Whatever gets you writing!

I'd volunteer to write some scripts, but I'm not reliable, I get sidetracked very easily xD

Well, if you want to stay within the boundaries of Metroid, I would say to study the different worlds within the Metroid Prime series -- within those games, you've got styles ranging from slimy and biological to shiny and futuristic and even an almost steampunk feel in some areas, all with enemies to match.
